| About Myself: Starting at the young age of 10, I went to a class that taught me the basics of HTML. It never occurred to me what this might lead to, but as the years progressed; I slowly began to realize my future. My appreciation and love grew towards the digital media as the days went by. Soon after learning HTML, I started playing in Photoshop, and then I continued with AutoCAD, 3D modeling, and various video-editing software. The time then came for me to decide what I wanted to do after high school; it was a tough question that was answered with NAIT's Digital and Interactive Media Design course. I was thrown into a group of familiar and unfamiliar types of technology and knowledge that I soon realized I enjoyed all. So much was being thrown at me that I was learning everything from Web to Flash to 3D to Video to Design. Eventually, the class was asked to pick a specialization that they would like to learn, I chose Video. I was trained in many programs, more specifically in Final Cut Pro, Motion, Soundtrack Pro, Livetype Pro, DVD Studio Pro. Now that I finished school with Honors, I have been still shooting, editing, and just recently started learning Inscriber. I have learned alot in the months after school, and keep continuing to learn. At the moment, I am the main graphics designer for the Edmonton Oil Kings scoreboard show. |
